Blackburn Rovers boss Steve Kean is set to send an SOS to Gael Givet.

The French defender, 30, was axed at the last minute at Swansea last weekend with the manager saying he was not in the right frame of mind.

But Kean said: "It wasn't hard to sort things out with Gael.

"We had a very positive five-minute chat. Since then he's been tremendous all week.

"Grant is out but it would have been sorted anyway. You want as many players available as possible.

"It wasn't ranting or raving. There was a conversation and I made the decision."
