Blackburn boss Kean plead not guilty to drink driving charge

Blackburn Rovers manager Steve Kean has pleaded not guilty to a drink-driving charge in court today.

The 43-year old tactician has been accused of appearing almost twice the legal blood alcohol limit after failing a breath test hours after the May 14 clash with Manchester United.

Kean was formally charged at Crewe Magistrates Court today but pleaded not guilty to the charge and will now appear at Macclesfield Magistrates on August 15.
