Blackburn boss Kean plans crunch talks with Samba

Blackburn Rovers boss Steve Kean hopes to convince Christopher Samba to make himself available for selection with the market now shut.

The Rovers skipper, 27, has been pushing for a move for several weeks.

But boss Kean said: "We want him to get his head round the fact that he's going to be here. It may take a few days."
