Blackburn Rovers boss Steve Kean is open to re-signing Manchester City striker Roque Santa Cruz.
The 29-year-old failed to score in 10 appearances after returning to former club Rovers in January from Manchester City.
Kean said: "It was tough for Roque. He picked up a couple of knocks. But every day in training, he showed us how good he is.
"Now the loan period's up, we'll be in contact and see if he's available."
