Blackburn boss Kean must make £5M stretch far in January

Blackburn Rovers boss Steve Kean faces a busy January market.

The Daily Mail says the club has around £5m to spend in January and Kean wants to make four signings if possible.

One target, striker Vedad Ibisevic of Hoffenheim, is understood to want a relegation 'get-out' clause before committing to a move to Ewood Park.

Kean is preparing a £3.5m bid for Ibisevic, 27, and also wants Fulham's Andy Johnson and Manchester City defender Nedum Onuoha, 25.

Keith Andrews' expected departure to Ipswich could help offset some spending.
