Blackburn Rovers boss Steve Kean laughed off being cleaned up by one of his own players last night in defeat to Stoke City.

The under-fire boss was knocked off his feet in his technical area by his own player Morten Pedersen.

It drew one of the biggest cheers from home fans as their team was sunk by Peter Crouch's first-half double.

Kean said: "I thought I took it well and in the right spirit. I tried to ride it but I saw it too late."
