Blackburn Rovers boss Steve Kean insist he's not gunning for a battle with the club's protestors.
The Scot says he does respect fans unhappy with the club at the moment.
He said: "What I did say was that, for the protesters, I would try to put that to the back of my mind, but not our fans, the ones that have been positive like the travelling thousand that went to QPR, I sent the lads down to acknowledge them and I went myself.
"I've never said I don't care about the fans, quite the opposite. I think the majority of fans see the way we're trying to play, they see the effort, the commitment and the organisation."
