Blackburn Rovers boss Steve Kean admits he's NEVER MET his new No2 John Jensen!
The strangers will be working together in the dug-out for the first time when Rovers head for Chelsea tomorrow.
And Kean told The Sun: "There were a number of people mentioned to me. I didn't want to just speak to people who I know.
"I wanted to meet people with different experiences from working in different leagues.
"So we'd never met before but I was impressed with his ideas and experience. We've had long conversations over the last couple of evenings."
The former Denmark midfielder admitted he knew little about his new boss but pledged to be a loyal assistant, after being introduced by agent Jerome Anderson.
Jensen said: "Jerome Anderson - who I've been working with for a long time - phoned me before New Year and asked me to come for a meeting with Steve Kean.
"So I came over and we talked about football and how things are going to be. Then Steve told me to go home and get packed.
"I haven't really been in touch with him before. But it's important a manager can trust his No 2 and I will do anything for him."
