Blackburn Rovers boss Steve Kean hopes to do his transfer business early this summer.
Kean is expecting a busy summer in the transfer market - but is prepared to be patient as he looks to strengthen his squad.
The manager told the Rovers website: "Ideally we'd like everyone signed in time for pre-season, but the reality is that isn't going to happen.
"But we'll certainly be trying to do as much in this window as we can. Rather than some now and some in January, we'll try to do the majority of our business now.
"We have got a sizeable budget, which will enable us to attract exciting players that the fans would like to see."
