Blackburn Rovers boss Steve Kean insists he's not freezing out Gael Givet.

The Frenchman has been missing for recent games.

But Kean, whose team travel to West Brom today, said: "Gael signed a deal last year, there's no automatic extensions. That's not a factor.

"It's the emergence of Grant Hanley - and that Gael's little hamstring injury took a bit longer than we thought to clear up.

"But he's back and looking fresh."
