Blackburn Rovers boss Steve Kean admits they've been working on Nikola Kalinic's confidence.
The Croatia striker is weighing up his future at Ewood Park.
"Niko has responded well. He's been frustrated, he's not been on the pitch too much," Kean told the Lancashire Telegraph.
"We put on an extra session, getting him hit the back again. He's looking sharp.
"Hopefully Niko is in a mental place where he can put it all together. He mustn't feel like he's on trial.
"He mustn't think he has one game to score a hat-trick or he'll never play for the club again."
