Blackburn Rovers boss Paul Ince says Tottenham will soon shake-off their troubles with Harry Redknapp now in charge.
He said: "I was surprised, especially at Harry going there. Sometimes you don't get that chance. Tottenham won the League Cup last year and they're looking to move forward.
"People were saying that Comolli was the one who was going to go, not Ramos, so it was a shock, but that's football."
Ince added: "Harry's different class, I love him to death. He's friendly with the lads but they still know he's the boss. He gives that spirit and buzz around the place when he walks into the building, and I think it will be great for Tottenham.
"It's sad that Ramos has gone, but it's a fantastic appointment to bring Harry in, a great move."
