Blackburn Rovers boss Paul Ince is sending trialist Anthony Annan back to Norway.

"Anthony is going back to Norway to play at the weekend," said Rovers chairman John Williams. "The reasoning behind it is that Paul wants to see him play in a competitive game."

Rovers remain locked in talks with Annan's club, IK Start, but will have him watched when he turns out for Stabaek against Aalesunds FK this weekend.
