Blackburn Rovers boss Paul Ince says LA Galaxy star David Beckham should have chosen Inter ahead of AC Milan.
"It would have been a good move for him if he'd joined Inter rather than AC," former Inter midfielder Ince told Setanta Sports News. "No, I'm sure it will be great for him, it's a great city and a great place.
"The people are fantastic and AC Milan is a massive club. It'll be interesting to see how he gets on with the language, it's never easy, but it will be a great experience for him."
Ince also said of his former Manchester United teammate: "In a way, playing in America and playing in Italy is similar. The Italian game is very, very slow and it's only when you get to the final third that it's quick, quick, quick - that's when your quality players come into it.
"I don't think it will be such a big adjustment for David because he's fit and looks after himself. He's the best in the world with dead-ball situations and even if it's just a loan period it could still benefit both parties."
