Blackburn Rovers boss Mark Hughes has accused Arsenal rival Arsene Wenger of making a "cheap shot" over his "violence" claims after last night's 1-1 draw.
"It was a cheap shot. He was hiding behind those comments because his team were dominated," said Hughes.
"I don't think he was very gracious. This was a good competitive game we deserved to win.
"The worst challenge was Van Persie on Nelsen and their key personnel did not trouble us."
