Blackburn Rovers boss Mark Hughes is pleased for David Bentley after his week away with England.
"It was disappointing for David (to be booed) but quite predictable really. I think it was highlighted because he came on as sub and people could think about it just prior to him coming on.
"The pleasing thing from my point of view was that he was really positive, demanded the ball off senior players, and showed great character.
"I think he's going to have a really long international career."
