Blackburn Rovers boss Mark Hughes has ruled out selling winger David Bentley.

"His (Bentley's) situation is that he is signed as a Blackburn player," Hughes told Sky Sports News. "There is always speculation about good players. David is a good player, but he won't be going anywhere.

"He signed a new contract 12 months ago, but obviously in that time he has pushed for international call ups and so we will reflect that.

"But we have got a situation at Blackburn where the vast majority of our club is tied up for the next three years and David obviously is one of those players. We are not a club that has to sell."
