Blackburn Rovers boss Mark Hughes says the pressure of playing for Newcastle United can be affecting their players.

Former Manchester United striker Hughes said: "It does happen, I've seen it myself. A catalogue of players who were very good prior to being signed by United crumbled in front of your eyes.

"That's when you've got to make sure the players you have are able to cope with the demands of the club."
