Blackburn Rovers boss Mark Hughes says it's time for British coaches to work abroad.
He told the Lancashire Evening Telegraph: "I think that's probably the next step," he said. "I think it's becoming more difficult for British managers to get the jobs that enable you to win things.
"But I think working abroad, given the right opportunities, it's something that British managers have to look at now.
"I wouldn't mind it at some point. It's part of the footballing education and, given the right circumstances, it's something I would look at .
"At the moment, I'm working in one of the hardest leagues in world football, and have been reasonably successful. You don't look outside of the Premier League if you can help it."
