Blackburn Rovers boss Gary Bowyer is happy to have kept hold of Jordan Rhodes.
The Scotland striker was being linked with Hull City and Stoke City over the weekend.
"There was a lot of speculation about Jordan and I've been saying since I got the job he isn't going anywhere and that's proved the case," Bowyer told Blackburn Rovers TV.
"We have to thank the owners because they've stated all along that we weren't selling him.
"There was one or two tentative enquiries but it didn't get to anything more from that because the message everyone got is - he's not for sale."
Rhodes, who has scored four times in his last two games, is seen as paramount to any possible promotion charge and Bowyer added: "He's coming into form now and the manner of his four goals so far have been top draw and it's something we need if we want to get where we're trying to get to."
