Blackburn Rovers boss Sam Allardyce wants to sign a new striker as he allows Matt Derbyshire to join Olympiacos on-loan.
"I'm happy to let him go, as long as I get somebody else in," confirmed Allardyce.
"When a player tells you he wants a new experience, and he is not getting any first-team football, you listen.
"It's different to the situation with Roque (Santa Cruz) because he will play virtually every week.
"So we'll see how it pans out, but it will only happen if there is a suitable replacement.
"If Matt does go there will certainly be one in, and if that player doesn't come in, then Matt doesn't go.
"So we're still looking to see if there is a player in the market of the right standard and quality for us."
