Blackburn Rovers boss Sam Allardyce says Paul Robinson and Chris Samba can hold their heads high after defeat at Liverpool.
"I thought Paul Robinson put in an outstanding goalkeeping display," said Allardyce at the end of the game.
"He'll be absolutely gutted to wake up and see four goals against him, he was outstanding.
"Chris Samba mastered the job that we wanted him to do but he had no support from his team-mates. If I was Chris I'd be very disappointed with my team-mates at not getting up and around him and not having the desire and determination to get in and around Liverpool in that area.
"That is no fault of Chris Samba's.
"So apart from the performances of Paul Robinson and Chris Samba there is very little positive in the performance of the rest of them to be honest."
