Blackburn Rovers boss Sam Allardyce is unhappy with claims he's a long-ball manager.
He said: "A lot of people thought we played long ball at Bolton but that was an easy stick to beat us with. That style of football was prevalent in the way we played the big teams.
"But when we played teams with less quality players than ours we played the ball on the floor. I find all that laughable now, it has stuck but it is not right.
"I don't have to prove myself to anyone now. I know what is right and wrong. Coming to Blackburn, I assessed the players we have and we play a different system completely."
