Blackburn Rovers boss Sam Allardyce is confident he can get the best out of El Hadji Diouf.
Allardyce worked with Diouf also at Bolton Wanderers and saw the Senegal firebrand score in last night's 2-2 draw with Sunderland.
He said: "I know Diouf as well as anyone. I think from the point of view I know where he comes from, how he ticks. I try to support him. If he steps out of line he gets told and dealt with. In the main I want to get the best out of him on the field. He helped us get a point."
