Blackburn Rovers boss Sam Allardyce admits their deal for Hajduk Split striker Nikola Kalinic hangs on the Croatian landing a work permit.

Croatia coach Slaven Bilic rates Kalinic as the best young player in the country and the transfer could be a great coup for Rovers.

"With regards Nikola Kalinic, we are waiting for a work permit. If we get that that's fine, if we don't unfortunately there won't be a deal, so we will keep our fingers crossed," said Allardyce.
