Blackburn Rovers boss Sam Allardyce is on the shortlist of West Ham United's board as they seek a new manager.

Sky Sports says West Ham want permission to interview Allardyce, Avram Grant (Portsmouth), Dave Jones (Cardiff) and Ian Holloway (Blackpool) over the vacancy at Upton Park.

Grant is odds-on 1-6 favourite for the job, while Allardyce was backed in from 33-1 to 12-1 at lunchtime on the back of the Sky story.
