Blackburn Rovers boss Sam Allardyce admits he's keen to return to the dugout.

Big Sam had heart surgery last month and has been confined to the stand in a bid to take the strain out of his recovery.

He said: "I'm looking forward to getting back on the bench and shouting my head off - but that's not happening just yet.

"For the next two or three games I shall be stuck in the directors' box. I have to do what the consultant tells me.

"But with or without me on the touchline, we've had some good performances and are getting more difficult to beat."
