Blackburn to bid for AZ Alkmaar midfielder Elm
Submitted by tribalfootball.com on Fri, 11/13/2009 - 11:44
Swedish midfield star Rasmus Elm is a target for Blackburn Rovers boss Sam Allardyce.
The Mirror says Allardyce is making inquiries about the tall Scandinavian prospect who only joined Dutch champions AZ Alkmaar in the summer for £4 million.
Rovers have been tipped off that Elm wants to come to England - after fearing he made the wrong move to snub Everton for Alkmaar in the last window.
The midfielder had the chance to join David Moyes's team after being a stand-out for his country in their European under-21 championship finals.
