Blackburn attacker Diouf: I know Liverpool fans will boo

Blackburn Rovers striker El Hadji Diouf knows he'll be booed by his former Liverpool fans this weekend.

Diouf is expected to continue just off striker Nikola Kalinic on Sunday, as Rovers look to upset the odds and clinch just their second Premier League away day victory, and he is relishing the challenge.

Diouf told the Lancashire Telegraph: "Of course I will enjoy going to Anfield on Saturday. It is exciting going to these grounds. It is going to be hard but it is not difficult to go there and get a result.

"It is exciting to play against your old club. No team is a hard team because in England anyone can beat anyone.

"The boos are no problem for me. If I didn't get that I couldn't play football. I need those people behind to give me that sort of stuff. I am a man and I need to show to the people I am a man. That doesn't bother me."
