Steve Kean has been assured of his job at Blackburn Rovers following victory over Swansea City.
Kean will be allowed to carry on as Blackburn's boss for now - but his transfer plans are in turmoil with Rovers' bank ready to put in a block tackle, says the Mirror.
Kean was given the nod to go ahead at a Monday board meeting, with Saturday's 4-2 victory over Swansea the clincher.
The Scot is desperate to sign three new players and his board are prepared to back him - but the club's bankers are getting twitchy about the possibility of Rovers spending too heavily and then suffering relegation.
Owners Venky's are trying to assure the bankers that they will reduce the club's debt in the summer - and would be in a better position to do so if they speculate now.
