Blackburn Rovers hope to announce the signing of QPR striker DJ Campbell today.

The Daily Mail says Campbell's move from QPR to Blackburn failed to go through before the 11pm transfer deadline.

Blackburn have appealed to the Premier League and Football League, and will try again on Friday morning, but it now looks unlikely to be ratified.

Campbell had arrived in Blackburn at about 9.45pm to try and complete the move to the Championship club.
