Blackburn Rovers have officially confirmed the appointment of Paul Ince as their new manager.
The 40-year-old has put pen to a three-year deal at Ewood Park after a compensation package was agreed between Rovers and MK Dons.
A statement from the club read: "Blackburn Rovers can today announce that Paul Ince has been appointed the new manager of the football club."
Rovers received special dispensation from The Premier League on Friday because Ince does not possess a Uefa Pro Licence - the mandatory qualification for all top-flight managers.
Ince, a manager for less than two years, has won plaudits for his impressive record at MK Dons, whom he guided to promotion from League Two last season.
