Schalke midfielder Jermaine Jones is being lined up for a move to the Premier League.
The USA international was capped at U21 level by Germany and has spent his entire career in the country.
The Sun says Blackburn Rovers boss Steve Kean is hoping to land Jones this month.
The midfielder is ready to leave Schalke in January.
