BK Häcken sports manager Sonny Karlsson has played down Manchester City's interest in Waris Majeed.

City chief Patrick Vieira watched the young Ghanaian last week against Djurgarden IF.

"We have not heard anything from there and you should also remember that it is a Champions League club, no matter how good Waris was on the day," said Karlsson.

"Also, don't forget Vieira does have some business with Djurgarden."
