Birmingham City's Scouser Scott Dann was delighted to return from Liverpool with a point on Monday night.
Dann is a former season ticket holder at Anfield and admits the 2-2 draw was among the best moments of his career.
Dann told the Birmingham Mail: "It (Monday night) was brilliant, it was a big thing for me as it's my home-town club and you'd go there and take a draw any time. We were a bit unfortunate with that (the penalty) but it was a good performance and decent result.
"We were disappointed because it was a bad decision from the referee but we will take a lot of positives out of it, we've not lost again and we're performing to a good standard week-in, week-out now. We've just got to keep that up.
"From a personal point of view I would have been delighted to get the win at Liverpool, having so many people watching, but we've got a good result.
"It was a big day for me. I enjoyed every minute of it and although we went a goal behind, we showed the determination to get back in the game. I thought we should have won."
