Birmingham City defender Franck Queudrue was full of praise for teammate Mauro Zarate after his double against Manchester City.

He said: "It would be good to keep Mauro full time. He is only 21, a very talented player. I think he is doing a good job with Mikael Forssell. They compliment each other.

"In 12 months' time he will be even better. He knows all about the physical side of the game and he has adapted very well in training. That's how you learn.

"He made a great run for the first goal and chipped the keeper. He is very talented with both feet. I don't know if he is a left-footer or a right-footer. In the training sessions he uses both feet.

"But what a talent. If we don't know which is his best foot, maybe the opposition don't either and that is good for us. You saw the strike for the second goal - it was perfect."
