Birmingham's Muamba: Leaving Arsenal right decision

Birmingham City midfielder Fabrice Muamba has no regrets leaving Arsenal in the summer.

He said: "The decision to leave Arsenal was left up to me. Nobody forced me out and I have no regrets about leaving.

"Whenever I make a decision I always stick by it and I'm happy with my decision."

Although Muamba is content with life at St Andrews, the man once tipped to fill Patrick Vieira's boots at Arsenal insists he has not given up hope of playing for a top English side.

He added: "I want to play for one of the top clubs in the Premier League and win a regular place in the England Under-21 team.

"But right now I just want to enjoy playing for Birmingham."
