Birmingham City midfielder Fabrice Muamba has hailed his former Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger as a "genius".

The England Under-21 midfielder, who joined Birmingham from the Gunners for £4million in the summer, claims Wenger is the best coach any young player could work with.

Muamba, 19, said: "Arsene gives good advice and helps you improve technically and physically - he's a genius.

"He's one of the best coaches in the world to work under for any young player who wants to improve and do well for himself."
