Birmingham City striker Sone Aluko admits his loan move to Aberdeen has breathed new life into his career.
"There's been a few low moments when you don't feel like coming in during the morning.
"But now I'm living the dream again. Before the loan came up, I was training with the first team every day and just being around the place and involved, it made me happy again."
As for the loan, which runs until January initially, Aluko said: "I want first-team football and I've not been averse to going somewhere.
"A lot of others have done it. Neil Kilkenny went to Oldham and it helped him.
"My England team-mates have been out on loan. Scott Sinclair went to Plymouth from Chelsea and did very well.
"It can only be beneficial to me and the club as hopefully I will come back a better player."
