Birmingham win double gong for January

Championship Birmingham have scooped a manager and player of the month double after Chris Hughton and Curtis Davies claimed the Championship's respective awards for January.

Blues, who are currently on a run of 12 matches unbeaten in all competitions, enjoyed a fruitful January in the league as they won four and drew one of their five matches.

Centre-back Davies has been a mainstay of a solid defence which conceded just three times last month.
