Birmingham City want Celtic to drop their asking price for winger Aiden McGeady.

The Sunday Mercury says McGeady continues to be touted, but Blues feel at £10 million plus, he is over-priced.

The Republic of Ireland is a target for several Russian clubs, but would prefer to stay in the UK if he is to leave Parkhead this summer.

Ryan Babel, of Liverpool, is being linked again following Blues interest in January but no firm inquiry has been made.
