Birmingham City have warned Newcastle United off midfielder Sebastian Larsson.
Larsson is currently with Sweden at the European Championships and has been offered a five-year contract by Birmingham.
But despite interest in the 23-year-old following City's relegation from the Premier League, the St Andrew's board are in no mood to cash in.
"We don't want to sell Seb, he's part of our plans for next season and I think he'll be loyal to the badge," said chairman David Gold.
