Birmingham turn down Bournemouth offer for Gray

Birmingham City have reportedly rejected a bid from AFC Bournemouth for Demarai Gray.

It is believed that the Cherries have turned down a proposal in the region of £1.5million for the highly-rated 18-year old winger.

Gray is contracted to the Brum until 2016 but the St Andrew's outfit are keen to keep him and are in no hurry to offload him to a Championship rival.

The Birmingham youth academy product and England U19 international made his debut for the Blues in October 2013 and has gone on to score five goals in 29 appearances, including a hat-trick against Reading on December 13 this year.
