Birmingham target Gomis wants Buaben to join him

Morgaro Gomis is hoping that his good friend Prince Buaben joins him at English Championship club Birmingham City.

The 25-year old Senegalese midfielder is set to complete a move to St Andrew’s after his deal at Dundee United expired but he wants his free agent former teammate Buaben with him for the ride.

"I heard that the club are interested in him (Buaben) too, so hopefully in the next few weeks they can tie down a deal," said Gomis.

"He used to play with me at United but he is a free agent as well now. He is my best friend so if he can join me at Birmingham it would make me so happy."
