The winger's pace and trickery have caught the eye and there will be no shortage of scouts at Chelsea on Saturday to see how the 17-year-old performs in Birmingham's FA Cup fifth-round tie.
"We played Man City [in the League Cup] earlier in the season and lost 2-0 and that was a really good experience, but I think I'm a much better player now," Redmond told the Guardian. "I think I got a little bit too caught up in the occasion in the first 10 minutes [at City] and then I started to play. The Chelsea game will be difficult but we don't really fear anyone.
