Birmingham City signing Martin Jiranek is well aware of new teammate Garry O'Connor.
Asked if he had any memories of O'Connor, Jiranek began to laugh. The blond hair and the tattoos were probably uppermost in his mind.
Former Spartak Moscow defender Jiranek told the Sunday Mercury: "I remember we played away at Lokomotiv Moscow and Garry came on as a substitute in the second-half - he was running and fighting hard!
"But I didn't really know that much about him, to be honest.
"During the preparation for the game against Lokomotiv I knew a lot, because the coach insisted that all the defenders knew how to play the strikers and what is their style. But when the game is finished, you focus on the new opponents."
