Birmingham City signing Alex Hleb is set to miss his debut against Liverpool.
Hleb was expected to make his Blues bow against Liverpool at St Andrews on Sunday after signing on a season-long loan from Barcelona.
But the ex-Arsenal winger, 29, limped out of Belarus' 0-0 draw with Romania in a Euro 2012 qualifier on Tuesday.
"His injury is not too serious but Hleb said to me that he definitely would be unable to play on Sunday," said Belarus coach Bernd Stange.
