Marcus Bent has blasted Wigan Athletic boss Steve Bruce.

The striker, 31, scored seven goals in 31 games last season while on loan from Charlton but has now signed for Birmingham.

Bent left the JJB in May without speaking to Bruce and said: "I was promised a contract and it didn't evolve.

"There isn't good blood between us."
