Aberdeen have signed Birmingham City striker Sone Aluko on-loan.

Aluko is an England youth international who has represented his country at various levels and is currently in the England Under-19 squad.

The 18-year-old has featured for the Birmingham reserve side over the past two seasons and made his debut for the first team as a substitute in the Blues' 2-1 Carling Cup victory over Hereford on Tuesday.

Sone is primarily a striker, who can also be deployed as a left-winger and joins the Dons on-loan until January.
