Birmingham's Phillips emerges as Perth Glory target

Birmingham City striker Kevin Phillips has emerged as a potential target for a move to Australia. Perth Glory have expressed interest in the 35-year old who has a brilliant goal scoring record in England and he is believed to be at the top of an extensive list of recruits the Glory have in mind.

The former England international enjoyed a highly successful stint with Sunderland where he scored over goals in about 200 appearances and has also played for Watford, Southampton, Aston Villa and West Bromwich Albion.
